Complex Sentence adalah kalimat yang terdiri dari:

1 Independent Clause

Kalimat utama yang bisa berdiri sendiri.

Contoh: I study English.

1 or more Dependent Clause

Anak kalimat yang TIDAK bisa berdiri sendiri.

Contoh: because I want to travel abroad.

Jika digabung:

"I study English because I want to travel abroad."

Pola umum:

1️⃣ Independent clause + subordinating conjunction + dependent clause

atau

2️⃣ Subordinating conjunction + dependent clause , independent clause
